When Traveling to the end destination or stops along the way

  1. If traveling with more than one biker, ensure safe riding distance.

  2. Use latex gloves to handle fuel pump and keypad (use paper towel as a backup).

  3. If there is a restroom or snack break, wear cloth mask in the facility and maintain a safe distance.

  4. Wash hands or use hand sanitizer as frequent as possible, especially after visiting the restroom, and or eating a snack or in a restaurant.

  5. Look for restaurants that may allow patrons, otherwise, take-out or delivery may be the only option.

When staying at a hotel (information provided from the CDC)

  1. Take the same steps you would in other public places – for example, avoid close contact with others, wash your hands often, and wear a cloth face covering.

  2. When you get to your room or rental property, clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces, however most facilities will do this. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, remote controls, toilets, and sink faucets.

When arriving at the Alpha Roundup destination

  1. Waves or fist bumps will be used as an acceptable form of greeting one another. The fraternal grip will not be recommended.

  2. Use hand sanitizer when it is available.

  3. Cloth masks should be worn when meeting or gathering.

  4. Alpha Roundup attendees will be assigned a specific group number for smaller groups to ensure better social distancing between riders.

  5. It is also expected that social distancing guidelines at local restaurants or places to gather will impact the fellowship experience.

  6. Should you gain symptoms during the Roundup, get tested.  If you are positive, then have a contingency plan on how to quarantine yourself.  This may require some to room with someone else or check-in another room to isolate yourself.
